A licence is a document or agreement giving permission to do something.
Liquor Licence:
If you sell or provide alcoholic beverages to your guests you need a licence from Liquor Licencing Victoria. This licence authorises the supply of liquor for consumption on the licensed premises.
How to work it out:
Use the table below to work out your liquor licence costs, please note that all licences expire and must be renewed (see renewal fee) on December 31st of each year. Fees are not GST inclusive.

Food Premises Registration Licence:
All food premises must be registered with the Local Government Authority (Council) in which they are located. Within local Councils, Environmental Health Officers are responsible for food businesses. A food premises is a building, place, stall or vehicle whether permanent or temporary at which food is to be prepared (manufactured, processed or treated), packed, stored, handled, served or supplied for sale.
How to work out the cost:
Allow $150 for an annual Food License (GST inclusive)
Prescribed Accommodation Licence:
Proprietors of residential accommodation, hotels or motels, hostels (houses, buildings or structures, used primarily for the accommodation of travelers), student dormitories or holiday camps (houses, buildings or structures used for the accommodation of student groups, youth groups or family groups for holiday or recreational purposes) at which more than five persons are accommodated, other than the family of the proprietor, must register the accommodation with the Local Government Authority.
